Fun with Tags!!!!

My May card class will feature the tags from our SWIC paper packs. People often ask me what they can do with that sheet of tags! So - I stepped up to the challenge, and created these cards for the class.

Many different stamp sets and paper collections were used on these. If you have any specific questions, or would like specific information about my May class - don't hesitate to ask!

I was inspired to make this card when I saw what Chris Franco did as a Guest Designer for the TAC Savvy Projects Blog. Check it out here - You will need to click on the category of Delicate Florals to see her design.

This is both a card and a gift! Attached is a bookmark that can easily be removed by the recipient! I used the Scor Bug to make additional perforations so it would be easy to tear apart. The stamp set I used is called Springtime Garden - which just happens to be on sale this month for $14.96. The regular price is $19.95. I colored with my Prismacolor Pencils and used OMS (Odorless Mineral Spirits) to blend. The paper used was Maggie - both the cardstock and the patterned paper.

Can you tell I am anxious for spring to come? I want all of this snow to MELT away, and my flowers to start coming up!

Hoppy Everything

It is so bright and sunny today! This card just got me thinking of spring!

I used the Scorbug and the ScorPal to make the sections on the white cardtock. From there, just stamped, colored and assembled! Colored with COPICs and finished up with Scrappers Floss in my buttons - is there any other way!?!?!? The stamp set used was Hoppy Everything. This stamp set just makes me smile! Used a light dusting of Brown Ink to highlight where I scored. It gave it a bit more definition.

Fun with the ScorPal

These are three of the cards that will be tought at my ScorPal Technique Night workshop this week. By using the ScorPal - you can create some unique backgrounds!

The first card is using the stamp set Lovely Peony. I paper pieced with the Angelee lavender paper, and popped up so it has more of an impact. I colored the leaves with COPICS and used various colors of our Bazzill cardstock. The ScorPal was used to create a diagonal pattern on the Snapdragon cardstock.

The second card used our fabulously fun Robots stamp set. This time I used the ScorPal to create a 'waffle' effect on the bright square and rectangle. Colored with my COPICS....... yes..... again!

The final card is my favorite. The layout and color choices are based on a card I received in trade from Pam Plencner. The stamp set used is Want to Fly from our Serendipity Street publication. The ScorPal was used on the bottom piece of Whirlpool cardstock. The middle strip was stamped with the new Versamark Dazzle Frost stamp pad. Nestabilties Large Labels were also used - as well as - you know..... my COPICS.

Thanks Sew Much

This stamp set was featured Wednesday on the TAC Savvy Blog! The guest designer for the day was Paula Kay Bourland. Boy - did she create some incredible cards!

For my card, I used lots of layers, once again! I can't help it - I just keep adding more when I am making my cards. The paper and cardstock are from the Juliette SWIC collection. I colored with COPICs, and added some Tan Scrappers Floss and a Button for the final touch.

Remember, this set, Sew Thankful, is on sale through the end of February for just $11.96!

Marvelous You

This is a card I created for my Hostess Club group. Masculine cards are always tough for people - so when I saw this set I couldn't wait to play with it. It is just such a peaceful scene!

The stamp set used is Marvelous You, and it retails for just $10.95. The sayings in this set are just fabulous!

I layered with lots of Bazzill cardstock, and of course colored with my COPICS. The technique I used is called Spotlighting.

Valentines Day Blog Hop

It is time again for a Blog Hop, sponsored by Paper Wings - and ALL Angel Company group!!!!! This month, the theme is Valentines Day.

My card is a pop-up card (it is probably officially called something else...... but that's what I am calling it!) It features our Hip Hop paper collection and the stamp set used is Frogs and Kisses - which just happens to be our January Stamp of the Month!

I colored with COPICS. It was fun to do a Valentine in non-traditional colors!

Want to see more - check out the other participants! You'll certainly enjoy them!
