Fun with Walnut Inks

For my monthly hostess club, it was requested I do some cards using our Walnut Inks. So - I had fun playing yesterday! Hope you like 'em!

The first card was made using the Walnut Ink Resist technique. Simply stamp with Versamark, emboss with clear embossing powder, use Applicator Caps on the Walnut Inks to create the background, then put the cardstock between paper and iron for a short while. The ironing takes off what you embossed, and you have your image left. Then I stamped the sentiment with our Noir Palette Stamp Pad. The stamp set I used is Take Pride.

The second card was made by spritzing a few colors of the Walnut Ink on white cardstock, stamping with stamps from True Beauty and Curls and Swirls, cutting with Fancy scissors, and putting it together. A simple way to get a beautiful and unique background!

It's Snowing!!!!!!

In honor of today's snow, and the fact that (oops) I haven't posted in a month - here is a card I made for my November hostess club! The stamp set is called Squirrely Girl. How did I make the background? It was easy with my Scor-Pal and Scor-Bug! I just LOVE this tool!
